Experience
I tutored English at Fairleigh Dickinson University while attending college. I tutored several students in various subjects while in high school, ranging from basic English and Math to AP English and Geometry. In terms of classes I've taken, I have studied literature from many time periods and countries while obtaining my Master's degree. A strong knowledge of grammar was also necessary to graduate. I am familiar with the MLA and APA styles of citation. I am trained in editing, proof-reading, and critical analysis of literature. I have written essays, articles, short stories, chaptered novellas, and poetry for various writing classes. I edited the work of other students. I am currently working on finishing a novel series that I would like to publish within the next three years. As far as tutoring goes, I enjoy it immensely. It gives me great satisfaction to know that I am helping another person succeed. I strongly believe that everyone should have the chance to meet their fullest potential. All of us need help getting there, so I am more than happy to assist others.
